Announcement of electric power generation result (amount of electricity energy received) in March 2020
We would like to inform you about the amount of electricity power generated in March 2020 (amount of electricity energy received).
erex group’s total amount of electric energy received*1 in March
The total amount of electric energy of 3 power plants | 89,715 MWh |
Name of power plant | Amount of electricity energy received(MWh) | Amount of electricity power subject to Act*4(MWh) |
---|---|---|
Tosa (Biomass) Power Plant | 13,335 | 13,335 |
Saiki (Biomass) Power Plant*2 | 28,008 | 28,008 |
Buzen (Biomass) Power Plant*3 | 48,372 | 48,372 |
*1 Fractions are rounded down.
*2 Saiki (Biomass) Power Plant was shut down from March 16th to 19th due to an equipment inspection. The output was suppressed 16 times in accordance with the “Output suppression directive based on the priority power supply rule”.
*3 Buzen (Biomass) Power Plant has suppressed the output 19 times in accordance with the “Output suppression directive based on the priority power supply rule”. Our group’s biomass power generation is classified as a biomass-only burning power source under the priority power supply operation rules, and operated at a predetermined “minimum output that can maintain a stable supply”.
The impact this suppression will give to the consolidated result is insignificant.
*4 Amount of electricity power subject to the Act on Special Measures Concerning Procurement of Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources
Note: Electricity supply and demand at Ofunato (Biomass) Power Plant is a non-disclosure information.
erex operates one of the largest biomass power plants in Japan using palm kernel shell (PKS) as a fuel, and its total output reaches approximately 220 MW (as of April 2020). In addition, we are working to foster renewable energy based on the FIT (Feed-in Tariffs for Renewable Energy) program promoted by the government.
In order to provide an even more satisfactory energy supply, erex, being the leading company of renewable energy is planning a total output of approximately 350 MW from our six power plants and will contribute in realizing a low-carbon society in Japan.
