Our statement
erex Group (erex Co., Ltd., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies) has established a "Sustainability Policy" based on its 2030 vision "For the Realization of a Sustainable Society—to become a pioneer in the new era of electric power with renewable energy at its core". Based on the belief that "respect for human rights" is an important social responsibility for companies, erex Group has newly established “erex Group’s Human Rights Policy" (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) as a code of conduct based on this Sustainability Policy. We will engage in honest business activities in each country and region.
1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations Related to Human Rights
erex Group complies with the laws and regulations applicable in each country and region in which it conducts business activities. When the laws and regulations of a country or region differ from internationally recognized human rights norms, we will seek ways to respect internationally recognized human rights principles.
2. Scope of Policy Application
The Policy is complementary to erex Group's Charter of Conduct and Sustainability Policy, and we will take measures to respect the human rights of everyone working at erex Group, including executives and employees.
3. Initiatives to Respect Human Rights in Business Activities
erex Group promotes efforts to respect human rights for stakeholders involved in all processes of business activities through initiatives stipulated in the Sustainability Policy and guidelines for each field.
4. Human Rights Due Diligence
erex Group identifies actual or latent negative impacts on human rights that may occur in its business activities, and strives to prevent or reduce them.
5. Remedy and Correction
If erex Group causes or is found to have been involved in a negative impact on human rights in its business activities, we will take appropriate steps to remedy or correct the problem and work to prevent it from happening again.
6. Dialogue with Stakeholders
erex Group strives to actively engage in dialogue and consultation with stakeholders regarding responses to actual and latent human rights risks.
7. Information Disclosure
erex Group appropriately discloses its efforts to respect human rights through erex Group website and other means.
