Notice of Launch of Agent Service for Purchasing FIT Non-Fossil Certificates with Tracking

Evergreen Marketing Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Toshimichi Tanaka; hereinafter “EGM”), a group company of erex Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that it will launch a service (hereinafter the “Service”) to procure FIT Non-Fossil Certificates with Tracking (*) (hereinafter the “Certificates”) on behalf of customers, which can be used for RE100 and CDP reporting, as follows.

Note

Based on its management philosophy of “making renewable energy more accessible and creating a society where green is the norm”, EGM provides services to help realize a sustainable society, including CO2-free plans, backed by erex Group’s renewable energy supply capabilities.

In the Service, EGM purchases the Certificates from the non-fossil value trading market on behalf of customers. By using the Service, customers can reduce their CO2 emissions without having to change their power supply contracts or to go through complicated procedures such as participating in bids by themselves. The purchased Certificates can be used for reporting to international initiatives such as RE100 and CDP.

The Service is recommended for “customers who want environmental value without changing their current plans” and “customers who want environmental value only during specific periods (e.g., during events).

* FIT Non-Fossil Certificates with Tracking
・The Certificate is a form of “value of being derived from non-fossil power sources” of electric power generated by non-fossil power sources, and information such as the type of non-fossil power source and the date when the power plant started operations can be added by adding tracking,
