Announcement of starting “renewable energy electricity” supply to the National Defense Medical Collage ーThe first case in erex group to supply renewable energy to government facilitiesー

Evergreen Marketing Co., Ltd.*1, a group company of erex Co., Ltd.*2, has begun supplying electric power to the National Defense Medical College*3 and National Defense Medical College Hospital*4 under a service that adds non-fossil certificates with tracking to normal electric power. The details are as follows.

Based on EGM’s management philosophy,” Making renewable energy more familiar. A society where green is by our side.”, we offer our services including CO2-free plans taking the context that erex’s has an abundant renewable energy supply capacity.

The Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces have taken the recent climate change issues seriously and have begun initiatives such as raising the renewable energy ratio sharply when procuring electricity used for facilities which is operated by the Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces. EGM participated in the bid to meet to their demands.

Under the contract, EGM will supply an electricity which is essentially 30% renewable energy from April 1st, 2020. This is realized by adding tracking vested non-fossil fuel energy certificate to FIT electricity procured from renewable energy sources onto its regular electricity.

This is the first time for the erex Group to supply renewable energy to a government facility, and from now on, we are planning to expand these supplying services.
