Biomass power generation is gathering attention as a clean energy because it uses PKS* and wood pellets as a fuel and this contributes in lowering the CO2 emission factor. It is also a very stable way in generating electricity. Through biomass power generation, erex is actively pursuing renewable energy development. In addition, we are planning to expand the number of biomass power plants and constructing even large-sized ones. In order to fulfil this plan, developing new sources, promoting new biomass fuels and selecting global suppliers who ensures a stable supply are some of the important points.
*PKS stands for Palm Kernel Shell. PKS is the remaining coconut shell after palm oil has been extracted from palm seed.
