Social Initiatives
When it comes to sustainability initiatives, companies are increasingly expected to address a wide range of issues, not limited to climate change, including poverty alleviation and human rights. We aim to grow alongside society through sustainable business operations, in which we broadly give back to society the profits generated by our business and, in turn, generate further profits as that society develops.
Commitment to Labor Practices
erex Group believes that ensuring all employees work in a safe, healthy, and fair work environment leads to the sustainable enhancement of corporate value. We respect internationally recognized labor standards, including the International Labor Organization’s (ILO) core labor standards, and comply with the laws and regulations of the countries and regions where we operate, while implementing appropriate labor practices.
Furthermore, we respect the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, and do not tolerate forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, or any form of discrimination or harassment. We eliminate unfair discrimination based on race, nationality, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other attributes, and strive to ensure fair compensation for work of equal value.
With regard to our employees, we will not only comply with laws and regulations but also strive to provide fair compensation that takes into account the standard of living necessary for their daily needs. Furthermore, we will appropriately implement working hours and leave systems in accordance with laws, regulations, and labor-management agreements, and work to prevent excessive working hours and promote work-life balance.
Should changes in the business environment necessitate a review of personnel allocation and employment adjustments, we will comply with applicable laws and labor agreements and engage in sincere dialogue with our employees. We will also strive to mitigate the impact through the provision of sufficient information, appropriate notice, and reemployment support as needed.
Furthermore, we will seek the understanding and cooperation of contractors, suppliers, and other business partners regarding the intent of this commitment, and promote the practice of responsible labor practices, including respect for human rights, fair working conditions, and the assurance of occupational safety and health.
Going forward, we will continue to identify and assess risks related to labor practices and implement necessary improvements to achieve a healthy and sustainable working environment for our employees and throughout our entire supply chain.
