Participated in the “Soene Akaripark 2019″
The erex Group exhibited and participated a special event, “Soene Akaripark 2019” which took place at the Ueno Park Fountain Plaza in Tokyo from October 31 (Thursday) to November 4 (Monday).
The purpose of this event is for people to deepen their knowledge and raise their interest towards energy. The beautiful gleam of light takes the center stage of this glorious and enjoyable event where people can experience a jolly future by combining Japan’s new energy-creation and energy-conservation technology with the latest light technology which mainly has an eye on “renewable energy”.
The accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant after the Great East Japan Earthquake which took place on March 11th, 2011, there was a period of planned power outages in and around Tokyo, and the darkness caused by the loss of light left a feeling of fear and restlessness to the people.
This event was held to offer people a chance to rediscover a sense of relief they feel when people see “light” while supporting Tohoku region affected by the disaster, including Fukushima-ken.
This year, our group sponsored and contributed to this event for the first time.
At our booth, we exhibited some panels to explain our biomass power plant, PKS and CO2-free plan, and we also set up an event for children where they can win a shiny toy by answering quizzes about electricity and they had a chance to make their own tin badge at another place. As a result, more than 3,000 people visited our booth in 5 days.
The children who visited our booth was trying to solve the quizzes with a serious face and making can badge where our mascot character, Rex-kun is printed as one pleases.
The event ended in a great success.
erex group will actively participate in events that will raise public awareness towards environment and act as a leading company to establish a low-carbon society in the renewal energy field.
